Hi there! I’m Cheryl, a lover of nature, books, and all things cozy. Whenever I get a chance, you’ll find me outdoors, whether it’s hiking through the forest with my three rescue dogs and my wife, or spending weekends camping under the stars. I’m inspired by each season—spring’s fresh blooms, summer’s gardening days, fall’s peaceful colors, and winter’s hygge vibes.
As a former early primary teacher and passionate author, my goal is to connect children with the wonders of nature through early literacy. My picture books are inspired by the beauty around us, inviting young readers to discover the magic of the natural world. Whether it’s a story about gardening or exploring the forest, I hope to nurture a lifelong love for nature and reading in children.

I have three rescue dogs that run the house, or they like to try. Our pets are a huge part of our family.
